RE:     Fresno State Wrestling Program

Dear Dr. Welty:

I am deeply disappointed in your decision to drop Fresno State Wrestling, a program that has experienced over forty years of tradition and service to our educational system, the Central Valley, and the State of California.  I am concerned about the negative effect the elimination of wrestling will have in our community.

I am a staunch supporter of Fresno State, both academically and athletically.  For the past five years, I have contributed approximately $_________________ per year to the University in the form of season tickets, merchandise, advertising, academic scholarships, donations, participation in fundraising activities, and contributions to the Bulldog Foundation.  [If you wish to list exactly what you have contributed, please do so here.]

I am writing to inform you that effective immediately, I am withdrawing all support to Fresno State, both academically and athletically.  In addition, I will encourage all those I know to do the same.  The withdrawal of my support will last until the Fresno State Wrestling program is reinstated and completely restored to its pre-elimination status.
